Released: Coming Soon
As part of an ongoing branding initiative, you, your volunteers, and your clients will soon notice visual updates to the GetYourRefund.org website. While the look of the site is changing, the services provided and the Code for America team supporting them will remain the same. The goal of this rebrand is to establish a unified brand system for our suite of tax filing products to build credibility, enhance trust, and create a consistent user experience. Here are some of the changes that’ll be gradually implemented in the next few weeks:
New Logo
The updated logo combines our checkmark with a folder to symbolize a task not just finished, but accurately completed and mentally filed away.

New Color Palette and Fonts
New fonts and color palette will be applied across our products and marketing.

Virtual VITA ➡️ Assist
Our Virtual VITA service option will be named Assist.

DIY ➡️ FileMyself
Our DIY service option will be named FileMyself.

We’re excited to announce that users with Hub role of Coalition Lead are now able to unlock a client within their account! As a reminder, clients are locked out of their GetYourRefund Client Portal after 3 failed login attempts and will be unable to access it until their tax team verifies their identity and unlocks their account. Specific instructions on how to unlock a client’s account within the Hub can be found here.
