This program is a living experiment. Code for America granted us a “diagnostic year” in which to prove the viability of a coordinated national body of volunteers, creating a blueprint for similar programs, and above all – bringing change to the 911 system.
Our partner in this work is Transform911 from Chicago University. While we maintain individual goals and activities, we share the same vision for a more human-centered emergency service.
