Step 1: Identify resources
- The Training Guide is a self-paced guide to start learning how to be a Greeter.
- Best Practices collects all information for Greeters, after going through the training guide.
- The FAQ consolidates all the learnings from the season, and is a great start for questions.
- The Flow reference is a high-level overview of how to interact with clients as a greeter.
- The Slack Greeter channel is for any and all questions.
- The Announcements channel is for a week-by-week, consolidated view of what's changed.
Step 2: Check access
- Do they know where to go in Slack?
- Have they saved down the Best Practices page on Notion?
- Do they know when the weekly meetings are?
- Do they know when the office hours are?
- Do they understand how to use Sling?
- Do they have, or want, the greeter helpers (bookmarklets)?
- Can they log in to the Hub?
