Step 1: Identify resources

• The Training Guide is a self-paced guide to start learning how to be a Greeter.
• Best Practices collects all information for Greeters, after going through the training guide.
  • The FAQ consolidates all the learnings from the season, and is a great start for questions.
  • The Flow reference is a high-level overview of how to interact with clients as a greeter.
• The Slack Greeter channel is for any and all questions.
• The Announcements channel is for a week-by-week, consolidated view of what's changed.

Step 2: Check access

• Do they know where to go in Slack?
• Have they saved down the Best Practices page on Notion?
• Do they know when the weekly meetings are?
• Do they know when the office hours are?
• Do they understand how to use Sling?
• Do they have, or want, the greeter helpers (bookmarklets)?
• Can they log in to the Hub?
